As I mentioned before I had joined groups where I can find events, marketing jobs, automotive manufacturer groups, and have added more people who I have met during these years in the automotive media. Joining groups and expanding my professional network has helped me so much on how to get more event and marketing gigs.
I have also finally opened up a Twitter account and a separate Instagram account for work that I have done in the industry. (My account name on both is DAILYHOOPTIE) I have done this because I would like to show what work I have done like car shows, show off new cars that are coming out through social media, and test drives.
On Facebook, I have been recently sharing automotive news through my news feed. Updating important moments in the industry and have been following event organizers as well for upcoming Autoshows and perhaps automotive gigs if organizers need help.
I hope you guys enjoy my new social media channels and I am thinking about opening up my own automotive blog about new cars utilizing social media in the future. For now, I hope my followers enjoy the eye candy and news through my media.
